Gendarmstien — Strandetapen

The Gendarme Path runs 84 km along the coast from Padborg on the German border to the island of Als, on the patrol route the border gendarmes walked between 1920 and 1958. In 2018 it became the first trail in Denmark certified by the European Ramblers' Association. The beach stage, out of Sønderborg and over the bridge to the island of Als, then along the shore of Augustenborg Fjord.
