Camino Fisterra-Muxía Stage 3
We leave Olveiroa contemplating the impressive River Xallas which flows boxed in by leafy vegetation. We cross the River Hospital, we enter O Logoso and then the hamlet of Hospital, a place which had a modest hospital for pilgrims which has now disappeared. A little later appears the roundabout which is the fork of the ways to Fisterra and Muxía. The route leads us to the vicinity of the Sanctuary of A Nosa Señora das Neves, Mount Ousado and the Hermitage of San Pedro Mártir, in the parish of A Pereiriña. Then, on the heights of O Cruceiro da Armada (247 m) we can contemplate Cape Fisterra for the first time, although still far off. A steep descent with views of the Ría (Sea Inlet) of Corcubión leads towards Cee, the first town of the region reached by the pilgrim. Cee is the largest municipality on the Costa da Morte; it has notable commercial activity and a busy Sunday market. We reach the centre of the town through Campo Sacramento and Rúa Magdalena.
