Geneva → Chamonix (Stage 1)

The first day of a ride from Geneva to Aosta, up the Arve valley to Chamonix under Mont Blanc. It follows the V61 véloroute — «Du Léman au Mont Blanc» — which is signed the whole way and stays off the main road for most of it, climbing steadily from the lake to 1,000 m without any one hard pitch.
