Eiger Trail

Directly beneath the north face of the Eiger, from the Eigergletscher station down to Alpiglen. The wall rises 1,800 m above the path — the face that took eight lives before it was first climbed in 1938 — and the trail runs along its foot on scree and alpine meadow with the Mönch and Jungfrau behind.
