Adige Valley Cycle Path — Trento to Bolzano

A flat run up the Adige valley on a dedicated cycle path, almost none of it shared with cars. The valley floor is vineyards and apple orchards the whole way, with castles on the bluffs above and the Dolomites showing to the east once you are past Salorno. [Route details] Start: Trento (194 m) · End: Bolzano 64.71 km one way · climb 181 m [Good to know] - This is the signed Pista Ciclabile Valle dell'Adige (route 1) as the source records it, not a line of my own. - 181 m of climb over 65 km: the gradient is the river's, and it is uphill northbound. Coming back down is faster. - An out-and-back for most people, which makes it about 129 km. Trains along the valley take bikes if you would rather ride it one way. - Elevation is sampled from a terrain model, not recorded on the ground.
