Annapurna Circuit South

The southern half of Nepal's Annapurna Circuit, running down the Kali Gandaki — the deepest gorge on earth, between the 8,000 m summits of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna — and out through Ghorepani to the road at Nayapul. This is the rhododendron-forest end of the trek, and the stretch most walkers finish on. Both halves reach Jomsom; the 1.7 km through the town that would join them is not mapped in the source relation. - Entry permits (ACAP and TIMS) are required. - Elevation is sampled from a terrain model at 200 m intervals, not recorded on the ground.
