Taman Tugu Nature Park

Secondary jungle in the middle of Kuala Lumpur, ten minutes from the Petronas Towers. The park is laid out as a set of coloured loops rather than one path, and this line strings the connected ones together into a single circuit from the Lanai Kijang trailhead. [Route details] Start and finish: Taman Tugu trailhead, Lanai Kijang 7.30 km circuit · 55 m to 94 m · climb 140 m [The loops, in the order this line takes them] - White, Secondary, Yellow, Orange, Green - Each is about a kilometre and each closes on itself, so one or two of them makes a short walk and this whole circuit makes a long one [Good to know] - The Nursery Trail is left out: it sits across a road from the rest and the source has no path joining it, so putting it in would have meant drawing a link that is not there. - Earth underfoot and humid; the park opens at dawn and closes in the evening. - Elevation is sampled from a terrain model, not recorded on the ground.
