Huangshan Traverse

Huangshan from east to west, on stone stairways cut into the granite. The route climbs from Yungu Temple to White Goose Ridge, drops into the West Sea Grand Canyon and back up to Bright Summit Peak, then descends the Hundred Steps Ladder past Lotus Peak and the Guest Greeting Pine to Ciguang Pavilion. Weathered granite spires, pines rooted in rock and a sea of cloud below them are what the mountain is painted for.
