Milford Track

One of New Zealand's Great Walks, crossing Fiordland from the head of Lake Te Anau to Milford Sound. The track runs up the Clinton valley between walls of rock hung with waterfalls, climbs over Mackinnon Pass, drops past Sutherland Falls and then follows the Arthur valley out to the sound. It is walked one way only, south to north, on a fixed schedule of four days and three huts.
